Online learning has been a challenge for my student in the past. Why is this different?

We get it. A lot of kids took a big hit from online learning during Covid. But that was almost always a self-paced or group format, not a live teacher working in a 1-on-1 setting. We replicate private tutoring well, including the accountability and customization of an in-person format.

We use the same books (yes, you'll get physical books, sent to your door). We use the same practice tests. And we even assign the same homework. It's private tutoring, delivered.

What if the tutor isn't the right fit?

You can switch up the tutor at any point! Most students love their first tutor, but if you don't, we will pair you with a different one.

Are you a platform that tutors sign up for to find students?

No, no, no, and in case that's not clear: No! Our tutors are W2 employees who have gone through multiple rounds of teaching auditions before going through an extensive (and paid) training program that is built around the material they teach for us (our proprietary curriculum). We are not just a tutor "matching" service or a platform they can sign up for. Beware of such tutoring services; it's not hard to find horror stories from their prior customers.

My kid's schedule is insane. How flexible is scheduling in your 1-on-1 SAT virtual tutoring program?

We pride ourselves on making scheduling happen even when it seems impossible. We work on evenings and weekends, and when you register we'll send you over an intake form that will give you a chance to tell us what your scheduling preferences are. We'll then use that when assigning your tutor. We've had kids with some really crazy schedules before, but we can almost always make it work.

What if we don't like it?

We will give you a 100% refund after the first session or a pro-rated refund of unused sessions at any point for any reason. No fine print, no gimmicks.
