Test Geek: Our Story
Test Geek was founded on the idea that quality test prep is all about quality tutors. There is no prep company with higher tutor standards, and we are passionate about recruiting and training the best test prep tutors on the planet.
The test prep market has become littered with online "platforms" that allow virtually any tutor to sign up, and parents have little to no insight into the qualifications of the tutor who will be working with their
student. Tutors are often somehow both underqualified and underpaid. Test Geek is decidedly anti-that.
Test Geek hires W2 employees, not contractors. We vouch for our tutors because we know them. We've put them through teaching auditions, we've trained them on our material and we've done their
background checks. We like them, and you will, too.
Our core mission has stayed the same since our inception, but the tools we offer our students have expanded significantly. Test Geek has developed its own proprietary SAT and ACT prep books, Solved, and
has created one of the highest-quality test prep video series available.

Zack Robinson
Founder & Chief Geek
Zack earned top 1% scores on the SAT, ACT, GMAT, MCAT Verbal (old version) and MCAT Physical Sciences (old version). He is the primary author of Test Geek's Solved book series and has spent thousands of hours helping students improve their test scores. He holds a BA in Philosophy and a BBA in Marketing and Finance. His philosophical work has been published in the peer-reviewed Journal of the American Philosophical Association and accepted at numerous academic conferences.
Jade Kiyak
Operations & Marketing Coordinator
As the Operations and Marketing Coordinator at Test Geek, Jade combines her experience as a former educator with her knack for organization and creativity.
