Registration

Test Geek programs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. While Test Geek makes an effort to ensure information provided at the time of registration is accurate, registration information such as class meeting times, dates, locations and instructor are subject to change.

Payment

Unless otherwise stated by Test Geek, all programs must be paid in full before the start of the program. Acceptable forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards and personal checks. Payment must be made through TestGeek.com or the Test Geek corporate office. Instructors do not accept payment, and any payment made directly to an instructor will not count as payment to Test Geek.

Refunds

Classroom courses: Refunds are available after registration but prior to one week before the start of the course, subject to a $100 cancellation fee. All refunds require the return of curriculum materials that were issued to the student.

Private In-Person and Private Online Tutoring: Test Geek believes in the quality of its services, so 100% refunds are available at any point prior to the second tutoring session taking place. After the second session has occurred, a pro-rated refund of remaining sessions is available. All refunds require the return of curriculum materials that were issued to the student. No refunds will be issued for completed sessions after the second session has been completed.

Program Times, Dates, Location and Instructors

Test Geek makes a good faith effort to provide accurate course information at the time of registration. However, certain details of the program such as times, dates, locations and instructors occasionally require modification. In such instances, Test Geek will notify students and parents via the parental email address provided at time of registration. Test Geek may also, as an additional courtesy, send text messages with updated information to the cell phone numbers provided at the time of registration. Students and parents may also receive updated information by calling the main Test Geek phone number. Test Geek is not responsible for sessions missed because the student or parent did not know the proper time, location or date of the session.

Score Improvement Guarantee

Test Geek guarantees that students enrolled in its tutoring programs will see their scores on the SAT or ACT improve. Eligible programs include in-person private tutoring , online private tutoring, and in-person group courses advertised on TestGeek.com. In order to qualify, a student must attend all tutoring sessions and complete all practice tests and homework assignments offered in the program. In order to calculate score improvements, the student's prior official SAT or ACT score, earned on an official test taken prior to Test Geek program commencement, will be compared to his or her official SAT or ACT score earned on the first official test taken after Test Geek program completion. If a student has not taken an official SAT or ACT test prior to program registration, the first official practice test offered by Test Geek will be used for comparison purposes. In order to qualify for the guarantee, the student must take an official SAT or ACT test within thirty (30) days of Test Geek program completion. If the student's score does not improve, Test Geek will provide an additional six hours of private tutoring at no cost or, at Test Geek's discretion, a free classroom course registration. Classroom course registration is subject to course availability. Score improvement guarantee programs have no cash refund option.

Exclusions: The score improvement guarantee does not apply to school-based programs, whether they are administered in-person or online. The Score improvement guarantee does not apply to any student doing fewer than twelve (12) hours of private tutoring or six (6) group course classroom sessions. Other exclusions may apply.

Love Your Tutor Guarantee

Test Geek wants students to enjoy working with their tutors, and we guarantee students will be satisfied with their tutor. If a student or parent is at any point unsatisfied with their tutor, we will assign a different tutor to the student at no cost. The Love Your Tutor Guarantee does not imply any cash refund, nor is any cash refund for completed sessions available.

Private Tutoring Session Cancellation Policy

Requests to cancel or reschedule a private tutoring session must be made to the tutor or to Test Geek at least 48 hours prior to the session. Without such notice, that session may, at the discretion of Test Geek management, be forfeited. This policy's purpose is to ensure tutors' time is respected, and management reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in the case of emergencies. Exceptions will be made at the discretion of Test Geek management.

Video Vault and Online Resource Access

Test Geek wishes to provide students with additional tools between sessions that might help students improve their scores. However, Test Geek cannot guarantee access to its online resources, including its Video Vault, will always be available. While Test Geek intends to make a good faith effort to ensure accessibility, it cannot be held responsible for server downtime or technological issues that result in the inaccessibility of its resources. No refunds will be issued due to inaccessibility of the Video Vault or other online resources.
